Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji, a Social Entrepreneur in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Education Technology, Digital Transformation and Public Policy is named by Forbes as one of the 20 most Powerful Young Women in Africa.
She is the Founder / CEO of RISE NETWORKS, a Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Powered Learning, Research and Work Readiness Center working to improve the skill set of young professionals for industry fitness in the evolving digital world of work. They leverage deep technologies and disruptive innovation to build progressive Careers and a first-rate National Workforce capable of driving the economic growth for Companies and Countries and we designed and built the first Career Coaching Chat-bot in West Africa.
Toyosi has been honored as a New Leader of tomorrow by Crans Montana Forum in Europe, she’s an Alumni of the International Visitor Leadership Program of the United States Government and she’s been a Judge of the NESCAFE Get Started Africa Entrepreneurship Challenge and a Judge of the Bank of Africa’s African Entrepreneurship Awards. In 2018, she was a Judge on the Young Women Transform Prize organized by USAID, Volvo and Standard Chartered to provide sustained long-term Economic Empowerment for young female entrepreneurs across the World.
Toyosi maintains Board Positions at the Gamaliel Onosode Foundation, Stay in School Foundation and The Right to Know Foundation, a Non-profit focused on Human Rights, Free Speech and Government Transparency and the Rule of Law. She was appointed a Member of the Presidential Committee on the Victims Support Fund by Nigeria’s former President Goodluck Jonathan and in 2020, the Chairman of the VSF, General TY Danjuma, [rtd] GCON appointed her as Chairperson of the VSF Task Force on COVID-19.
